This is the "black caulk" that I use for roof PVC pipe boots, brick counterflashing, and skylights (for HVAC pipes, use tripolymer caulk listed below). One tube of sealant should do 5 or 6 pipe jacks and each tube should seal approx. 8 to 12 linear feet of counterflashing on brick. If you are unsure of how much to buy, or if you are more liberal in your application of the caulk, it would be better to get more caulk in the beginning of the project so you don't run out.
